In briefMakes a child born in The Bahamas after 9th July 1973 a citizen at birth if either parent is a citizen.

Every person born in The Bahamas after 9th July 1973 shall be come a citizen of The Bahamas at the date of his birth if at that date either of his parents is a citizen of The Bahamas.

A person born in The Bahamas after 9th July 1973 becomes a citizen of The Bahamas on the date of his birth if, on that date, either of his parents is a citizen of The Bahamas.
