The official text is reproduced from the chapter documents published by the Government of The Bahamas and is provided for reading and reference, not as legal advice. The plain-language edition is an unofficial aid to understanding; where it and the official text differ, the official text applies.

For a machine-readable copy, the full text is also published as Markdown. See About this edition for how the text was prepared.
